At the end of June, the second meeting of the Export Club of the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts took place. The meeting gathered 29 members of the Chamber who export their products or services. During the meeting, Audrius Zabotka, a business finance and personnel selection expert presented the DNA plan for the future economy prepared by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania for the promotion of Lithuanian business. Later, the members of the Export Club discussed the most relevant topics for exporters of goods and services: export regulation (customs procedures, market restrictions), presentation of foreign markets, cultural differences and strengthening informal cooperation. Besides, the participants of the event shared the challenges they face when doing international activities or starting to export. When discussing the further actions of the club, it was decided to hold the meetings of the Export Club after the summer holidays regularly – on the last Wednesday of each month.
