NO, the electric heating mat cannot be trimmed, as the resistance of the heating mat will drop, the raised power will overheat and damaged the heating mat. Therefore, it is essential to measure the heated area accurately. The heating mat should be installed in the free floor area, excluding the bathroom furniture and equipment.
