The power requirement (W) will depend on the area heated (m²) and the installed electrical floor heating cable or mat (W/m²). Recommended power when laying heating cables or mats – 80-160 W/m². The recommended power under the laminate and parquet boards is 80 W/m². For passive and low energy homes, the calculated heat demand for home heating is 40-60 W/m².
