How can I measure the resistance of an aluminium foil heating mat?

The resistance of the aluminium foil heating mat is measured between the power cable conductors and the screen.

The resistance between the conductors should be of the same value as indicated on the mat label (Ω). The resistance between the screen and the conductors must be at least 0.5 MΩ.
